 Unloading ports receiving substances regulated by regulation 2.4 (which include inter alia high-density oils) should have adequate facilities dedicated for such products, allowing the entire tank-cleaning operation to be carried out in the port, and should have adequate reception facilities for the proper discharge and reception of cargo residues and solvent necessary for the cleaning operation in accordance with paragraph 7.2 of the Unified Interpretations.
