Circular

  1 A communication has been received from the Administration of the Bahamas concerning the application of relevant provisions under regulation 4 of MARPOL Annex VI.

2 As requested by the Administration of the Bahamas, this circular provides notification that the information contained within MEPC.1/Circ.798 relating to the installation of an exhaust gas cleaning system is no longer valid.

3 In accordance with the provisions of regulations 4.1 and 4.2 of MARPOL Annex VI and resolution A.1074(28), the Administration of the Bahamas has notified via GISIS information relating to installation of a new exhaust gas cleaning system on the LIBERTY OF THE SEAS (IMO Number 9330032). Parties to the Convention and Member States are invited to take appropriate action, if any.
